Since the demise of marensgarden photography, we have relocated and are getting settled in our new home in Utah. We have decided to put up a new photography blog where we can post our portfolio pictures and also sessions we'll take in the future. So, for now....this is a work in progress. Rowan's New Dress
I wanted Rowan to have a dress that she could wear with this turquoise headband that I had made her. I went through my mother's store of fabric in her basement and designed this dress. Usually I will design it and my mom will make it for me. This time she was busy holding the baby, so I cut it out and even did *most* of the sewing. She helped me through some tough spots. I LOVE how it turned out. So so cute. I really like designing and making things for my darling little girl. I am having a blast. Now for the pictures. The ones on the floor were taken on Thursday, the day after I finished the dress. The ones with the white backdrop were taken today as my Sunday Morning Pictures. I'm experimenting to find the best place in my house to take the Sunday Morning Pictures for the lighting. It's all an adventure.
