Fairy Babies

Aunt LouAnn came home today with fun dress up clothes for little girls.  Rowan and her 2nd cousin got to be fairies and be photographed (lots...)

Rowan's New Dress

I wanted Rowan to have a dress that she could wear with this turquoise headband that I had made her.  I went through my mother's store of fabric in her basement and designed this dress.  Usually I will design it and my mom will make it for me.  This time she was busy holding the baby, so I cut it out and even did *most* of the sewing.  She helped me through some tough spots.  I LOVE how it turned out.  So so cute.  I really like designing and making things for my darling little girl.  I am having a blast.  Now for the pictures.  The ones on the floor were taken on Thursday, the day after I finished the dress. The ones with the white backdrop were taken today as my Sunday Morning Pictures.  I'm experimenting to find the best place in my house to take the Sunday Morning Pictures for the lighting.  It's all an adventure.

Finally, an update

Well, after moving to Utah, we got busy and I didn't pick up my camera much for 2 years.  That has ALL changed since we recently added an addition to our family.  Her name is Rowan Kristina and such a joy to us.  You will get to know her well as she is the focus of my photography these days.  I am busy raising my kids and so am not out doing other photo shoots right now.  We'll see if that changes in the future.  I've been just putting these photos on facebook.  Now, I think I would rather store them here.
